Suitable for:
Adults who are 18-65 diagnosed with schizophrenia, bi-polar affective disorder, psychotic depression and other psychiatric disorders.
We treat people aged between 18-35 years of age, experiencing their first episode of psychosis, or those who are in the first three years of psychotic illness.
Offer:
The EIS offers treatment including:
- Administration of anti-psychotic medicines
- Cognitive behaviour therapy for psychosis and emotional problems, including depression and anxiety
- Family interventions
- Vocational recovery
- Relapse prevention
- A harm minimisation approach to substance misuse
